If you want an inexpensive wig that looks as real as possible, lace hair pieces might be the answer for you. This is one of the most popular options right now for wigs because they look so much like real hair. Since nobody wants it to be obvious that the hair they’re wearing isn’t theirs, this is a great thing.

How lace hair pieces work is that a fine piece of lace is used in the front of the wig. It goes from temple to temple along the hairline and back a few inches. Because it is sheer, it blends with your scalp nicely and the hair looks like it is growing from your head.

Even on close scrutiny it is difficult to tell that someone wearing lace hair pieces is wearing a wig. Only someone looking extremely closely could tell, and people shouldn’t be looking that close anyway! While these wigs need to be treated with care and repaired a couple times a year, they are very reasonably priced options.
